LICENTIATE ROYAL PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY
In June 2019 I received my LRPS Accreditation.
The Royal Photographic Society offers photographers the opportunity to join over 11000 people who care deeply about photography and they offer the chance to gain internationally recognised qualifications.
For the LRPS qualification, photographers are asked to put forward 10 images which reflect their ability as a photographer.
I put forward my portfolio of 10 images as prints which have do be displayed as a panel. Applicants must show variety in approach and techniques but not necessarily in subject matter. The portfolio is displayed as per a hanging plan which the photographer has to provide. The assessors initially view the portfolio as a whole, followed by a detailed examination of the images.
